We are looking for some new agents to sell pontoon boats

We would like to find people keen to assemble and sell pontoon boats in the following areas.

Northern Queensland

Southern Queensland

Northern NSW maybe down to Coffs or Port Macquarie

Around the Sydney area, especially near the water at Gosford or Woy Woy

South of Sydney

Bairnsdale

Western Australia around Perth or Mandurah

Pontoon Boat Sales may not be a full time job...yet..but if you can supplement your income, or keep yourself busy in your semi - retirement it can be a good income.

If you are an old salt or just handy with a few tools this could be the right thing for you.

You need to have good selling skills or a big family or lots of friends, because you will need to change the way people think about boats.

You will need to show them how stable these things are, how easy they are to get on to, how easy they are to drive and maneuver, how easy it is to drive on the trailer, how you can take 6 or 8 of your friends when you go on the water.

You will need to be handy with a drill and a spanner, because you will have to assemble the boat, or organize to have it built for you. We have had keen school kids put these together for us!!

You will need to be used to handling large sums of money, because these boats sell for up to $45,000.

You will need an area where you can put a container down and unload it. That's how they come.

You will need to be good on inventory control, because everything is packed like a kit set, sometimes , no labels.

You might want a local alloy welder, a local upholstery guy and a local canvas man that can carry out small jobs. You will need these people because very often we customize a boat to suit what the customer wants, at extra cost , of course.

You will probably need some computer skills, so you can e-mail quotes, e-mail photos, accept internet banking etc

You will need patience and innovation, because our boats come from the USA and they are wrapped in yards and yards of sellotape and foam, and they have hundreds of screws and bolts, and nothing is labeled, and some times things don't appear to fit, but you can always make a nice boat that somebody would be happy to own.

You will need access to money because we will charge you a fee to join us, and then a fee to order and control your shipment , right to your door.

You will need to pay for your goods before they leave the States, which means you will be out of pocket til the ship gets in ( about 7 weeks). You might even pre-sell your products...wouldnt that be good.
